There is a Cosmic Intelligence that is in all things and through all things.

This is the one real substance. From it all things proceed. It is Intelligent Substance or Mind Stuff. It is God.

Where there is no substance there can be no intelligence; for where there is no substance there is nothing.
Where there is thought there must be a substance which thinks.

Thought cannot be a function; because function is motion, and it is inconceivable that  motion can think. Thought cannot be vibration, for vibration is motion, and that motion should be intelligent is not convieable. Motion is nothing but the moving of substance; if there be intelligence shown it must be in the substance and not in the motion.

Thought is not the result of motions in the brain. Thought is in the life-principle that animates the brain, in the eternal intelligence, which is the real you. The brain does not think, YOU think and expresses your thought through the brain.

There is an eternal intelligence that thinks. Just as the spirit substance of us permeate our body, and thinks and knows in the body, so the Original Spirit Substance, God, permeates all nature and thinks and knows in nature. Nature is as intelligent as us, and knows more than us; nature knows all things.

The All-Mind has been in touch with all things from the beginning; and it contains all knowledge. Our experience cover a few things, and these things we know; but Eternal Spirit’s experience covers all the things that have happened since the creation, from the wreck of a planet or the passing of a comet to the fall of a sparrow. All that is and all that has been are present in the Infinite Intelligence that is wrapped about us and enfolds us and presses upon us from every side.

All the encyclopedias that have written, all the websites have created are but trivial affairs compared to the vast knowledge held by the mind in which we live, move, and have our being.

You are thinking substance, a portion of the Cosmic Substance; but your “physical body/mind” is limited, while the Cosmic Intelligence from which you sprang, which Jesus called the Father, is unlimited.

All intelligence, power, and force come from this Source.  One of the greatest teacher  Jesus recognized this and stated it very plainly. Over and over again he ascribed all his wisdom and power to his unity with the Father, and to his perceiving the thoughts of God. “My Father and I are one.” This was the foundation of his knowledge and power. He showed the people the necessity of becoming spiritually awakened; of hearing his voice and becoming like him.

We are immersed in the Universal mind and that mind contains all knowledge and all truth. It is seeking to give us this knowledge, for our Source delights to give good gifts to its children. The prophets and seers and great men and women, past and present, were made great by what they received from God, not by what they were taught by others.

This limitless reservoir of wisdom and power is open to you; you can draw upon it, as you will, according to your needs. You can make yourself what you desire to be; you can do what you wish to do; you can have what you want. To accomplish this you must learn to become one with the Source so that you may perceive truth; so that you may have wisdom and know the right ends to seek and the right means to use to attain those ends, and so that you may secure power and ability to use the means.

Resolve that you will now lay aside all else and concentrate upon the attainment of conscious unity with The Source. Because this is the only way to  get to where you want to go.

I know often my wife rolls her eyes and tell me “who knows who put that information there.”……

I’m with Seth Godin  on this. To me not using Wikipedia is like having a fully automatic camera and keep it in manual focus.

He told this story

A priest from the Church of the Resurrection in Copacabana was patiently waiting his turn to buy some meat at the supermarket when a woman tried to jump the queue.
A stream of verbal insults burst forth from the other customers, and the woman responded with equal vehemence. Just as the situation was beginning to get out of hand, someone called out: ‘Hey, lady, God loves you!’
‘It was amazing,’ the priest told me. ‘At a moment when everyone was thinking about hate, someone spoke of love. All the ferment disappeared as if by magic. The woman walked back to her rightful place in the queue, and the other customers apologised for having reacted so aggressively.’

I think this story is touching to me because  I saw my grandfather do this often, and I saw first hand how immediately it effects people.

Just imagine how you and everyone around you would benefit if you were the anonomous person who yells out ” Hey! God loves you.”  without any furhter dilution or explanation.

Ideas have mystical power, and ideas, when rightly planted and rightly tended, are the seeds that actualize material conditions.

When apparent adversity comes, do not be down by it, but make the best of it, and always look forward for better things, for conditions more prosperous. By having this attitude your subconsciousmind is to set into operation subtle, silent, and irresistible forces that sooner or later will actualize in material form that which is today merely an idea.

Never give a moment to complaint, but utilize the time that would otherwise be spent in this way in looking forward and actualizing the conditions you desire. Suggest prosperity to yourself. See yourself in a prosperous condition. Affirm that you will before long be in a prosperous condition. Affirm it calmly and quietly, but strongly and confidently. Believe it, believe it absolutely. Expect it, — keep it continually watered with expectation. You thus make yourself a magnet to attract the things that you desire. Don’t be afraid to suggest, to affirm these things, for by so doing you put forth an ideal which will begin to clothe itself in material form. In this way you are utilizing agents among the most subtle and powerful in the universe. If you are particularly desirous for anything that you feel it is good and right for you to have, something that will broaden your life or that will increase your usefulness to others, simply hold the thought that at the right time, in the right way, and through the right instrumentality, there will come to you or there will open up for you the way whereby you can attain what you desire.

Don’t fold your hands and expect to see things drop into your lap, but set into operation the higher forces and then take hold of the first thing that offers itself. Do what your hands find to do, and do it well. If this work is not thoroughly satisfactory to you, then affirm, believe, and expect that it is the agency that will lead you to something better. “The basis for attracting the best of all the world can give to you is to first surround, own, and live in these things in mind, or what is falsely called imagination. All so-called imaginings are realities and forces of unseen element. Live in mind in a palace and gradually palatial surroundings will gravitate to you. But so living is not pining, or longing, or complainingly wishing. It is when you are ‘down in the world,’ calmly and persistently seeing yourself as up. It is when you are now compelled to eat from a tin plate, regarding that tin plate as only the certain step to one of silver. It is not envying and growling at other people who have silver plate. That growling is just so much capital stock taken from the bank account of mental force.”

A friend who knows the power of the interior forces, and whose life is guided in every detail by them, has given a suggestion in this form: When you are in the arms of the bear, even though he is hugging you, look him in the face and laugh, but all the time keep your eye on the bull. If you allow all of your attention to be given to the work of the bear, the bull may get entirely out of your sight. In other words, if you yield to adversity the chances are that it will master you, but if you recognize in yourself the power of mastery over conditions then adversity will yield to you, and will be changed into prosperity. If when it comes you calmly and quietly recognize it, and use the time that might otherwise be spent in regrets, and fears, and forebodings, in setting into operation the powerful forces within you, it will soon take its leave.

Faith, absolute dogmatic faith, is the only law of true success. When we recognize the fact that a man carries his success or his failure with him, and that it does not depend upon outside conditions, we will come into the possession of powers that will quickly change outside conditions into agencies that make for success. When we come into this higher realization and bring our lives into complete harmony with the higher laws, we will then be able so to focus and direct the awakened interior forces, that they will go out and return laden with that for which they are sent. We will then be great enough to attract success, and it will not always be apparently just a little ways ahead. We can then establish in ourselves a centre so strong that instead of running hither and thither for this or that, we can stay at home and draw to us the conditions we desire. If we firmly establish and hold to this centre, things will seem continually to come our way.
