Anyone who spend longer than 15 minutes with me know I am politically opinionated, vocal about my views, and I almost demand people I know to vote. I think I vote consciously and based on my own study of candidates. I don’t base my opinions on polls, CNN soundbites, nor on what the candidates promise they will do if elected ( If they’re not doing it before election they won’t do it after)
I also believe America and Americans need third party candidates to ask the questions media (aka mouthpiece for the big money) afraid to ask. I know….. KNOW the reason why third party candidates are marginilized by media is so big corporations doesn’t have to spend money buying third party candidates. simple economics. If a candidate cost $10Mil to Ford (they give equally to both campaigns) a third candidate immediaetly increases their Election Budget by a third. What’s even scarier is some candidates are not even for sale.
Finally American public is slowly waking up from their self imposed comatose of politics with Obama’s call for change. I hope these seeds will take and this election season won’t be a flash in the pan.
Having said all this I am quite disturb Third Party Candidate Ralph Nader is not allowed to debate.
I wonder what Mr. McCain (who should’ve been the president 2000-2008) and Mr.Obama (likely to be next president) are afraid of?
Anyone know?
